My name is Gordon Cochran and I started photographic training in 1972 and have worked in most parts of photography since then.

I started Gordon's Photographic in BOURNE in 1996 with support of my family . Within a short time Clare (my daughter) came to work for me. Clare keeps the lab production going controlling most of the jobs and at times she lets me know who's the boss. Robert (my son) has now joined the business bringing a new freshness into the job. Andy is my main part time photographer he walked over my doorstep 6 years ago to process some films and I saw he had talent and offered him a job the rest is history. The other staff members are Dawn, Faye and Becky who are new and are learning fast.

The shop is spilt into parts The Studio: Professional wedding, portrait & social photography including pets, The Shop: cameras, filmcards, bino's telescopes and the largest range of frames and albums in the area. The LAB: the main hub of the shop connecting all other parts and processing all customer film and digital photographs from locket size to A1. We now do more things in more ways than we can write down. So when customers ask the answer is yes but how long do you want to wait!

10 years ago a young couple asked if they could come into the studio for a portrait straight after they got married as I was doing a special £25 promotion portrait (they could not afford my wedding pack) I didn't let them but I went to the wedding and took a set of photographs and charged them £25. From then on I decided to get rid of all the bull and give good original photography at a price most people can afford.
